A local windsurfer is donating their equipment to the Club:
The equipment comes from about the year 2000 and from the pics I saw looks to be in good condition. The board is a step up from the club boards, but still floaty and even has a dagger board in case it’s needed. F2 is a good brand.
Included are:
F2 Pheonix board 320, I think thats about 160 ltr so thats still quite floaty
Footstraps
Board bag
2 fins. These are a good quality and suitable for higher speed planing.
Boom, with harness lines. (I’m not sure what size)
Mast extension
Gastra 8.5 sail, with bag.
Harness (Two)
Note there is no mast, but you may be able to get one 2nd hand from a club member or eBay. The 8.5m sail would be good for those who want to go out blasting but would be too big for the children, and small ladies. To complete the package I would suggest you would need to find another sail (say about 6m) and mast to suit.
The first person to donate £100 to the club will secure the sale.
The deck plate is worth £25, and fins about £50 each, so its a great opportunity to get your own first kit for a relatively small outlay, and sell on when/if you out grow it. It could be a lot of fun for very little money.
If you are interested then please contact the owners:

The equipment would need to be collected from Halvergate

” I sailed my F2 a couple of days ago. It is an awesome board. It picks up and planes really quickly with hardly any wind and feels really solid and stable in higher winds, but is much more responsive than the superlight. It is a really good all around board, I am loving every minute on it. It turns really easily like a short board, but still has the stability I like. I like that it feels very responsive and fast without feeling unstable, it’s a great transition board, but one I can see myself sailing for a long time. “
