Hi
Hope you enjoyed the Windy Xmas & NY.
I just wanted to get some feedback on a possible SB course in Norfolk during 2012.
Just looking at destinations. Would you guys be interested in a one day course either at Hicklingbroad or maybe on the coast as well? Any thoughts appreciated. All the best Simon Bornhoft.

I'm in contact with Simon and looking to help organise something special for the summer. I'll update with progress via the web site and the news letter once something is arranged. In the mean time please add your comments, suggestions, and your interest.
For those that are new to the sport or perhaps don't follow the windsurfing media then you need to know that Simon is a leader in windsurfing teaching methods across the globe. Find out more by clicking on this link Who is this guy? …quite a CV!
A training event at Hickling with Simon will be very special indeed.
Best regards, Martin
PS. I hope the weather warms soon as I've not been out for months.

Simon and I have been in contact to discuss fees and content. Understandably it does work out to be quite an expensive day to cover Simon’s costs and fees. Based on experience of turnouts from other events at Hicking we (the committee) believed it’s unlikely to generate enough interest to make it worthwhile for Simon and so decided not to proceed. Ant Baker was considering running a training session here last year, and even at a much cheaper rate there was very little take up. The other key risk of course is that should the weather not be suitable then its a lot of money to be doing theory on the beach.
If you are particulalry interested in Simon’s courses then do check out his Web site for dates, venues and costs. I’m sure the training is first rate.
We do expect to run some ‘free’ training sessions again this year and these will be published on the web site as soon as we have some dates.
Best regards, Martin
