To all club members who remember Gilbert Edwards.

I was told today of the sad loss of former club member and keen windsurfer Gilbert Edwards. He left the

club and the area to live and sail in the south west about 8 years ago. He and my daughter were work colleagues

so, through her, I was aware that he wasbeing treated for cancer. He saddly lost his fight on January 9th. I will remember

him as a soft spoken gentleman and a pretty good windsurfer. I am sure all members, past and present, would join me in

sending codolences and best wishes to his wife Lesley and his family.

N.B. If we do the W4CR event again this year , good reason to raise more money for cancer research.
