Hi everyone – it feels like this northeasterly has been with us for months – and I’m desperate to get onto the water! Does anyone know – is it remotely feasible to sail at Hickling under these conditions, or will I end up stranded about half a mile from the beach!?
Any thoughts gratefully rerceived.
Cheers
Glen

Yes you can…. it’s usually only the last 100m back to the beach that’s troublesome
but having taken a look this afternoon: cold, grey and barely F2 straight offshore I didnt’t think it worthwhile and decided discretion rather than valour…. IMHO worst scenario is too little wind to get back and then it’s a very long cold walk in chest deep water!
