The small print.
  • The course is to the Start Windsurfing RYA syllabus, run by RYA qualified instructors, and the Club is affiliated to the RYA. Please note we are not an authorised training centre as this would be too much of an administration overhead for our volunteers. However, we do apply the same rigour, quality of training at a fraction of the market rate. Our student feedback from our last courses is quite exceptional.
  • Our insurance requires students to be members of the Club, so everyone must be a member. For those who attended the C&T day, the £40 joining fee is waived.
  • Course places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
  • We are not set up to manage unaccompanied children under 18, and so require parents to be present. If this is a problem then please discuss with me, and we can try and sort something.
  • We are likely to start around 9am, finish at 4pm
  • Courses may be re-arranged due to bad weather.
  • Courses are subject to instructors availability, and dates may need to change. Cancellations out of our control will try to be re-scheduled at a convenient time. If that is not possible then a full refund will be provided for 2 days cancelled, 50% refund if 1 day is cancelled. No refund for part of a day cancelled or for any books purchased.
  • Payments in advance. If you cancel then we can offer a 60% refund provided we can fill your space, otherwise no refunds will be given.
