The first official Race Day for a decade or two was well organised, and a great success. With a westerly wind gusting to Force 4, the course was laid out from the point to a Southerly Buoy. The results after 5 races were: 1st Martin, 2nd, Simon, 3rd Darren. Thank you to Richard for organising, and the ‘three men in a boat’ (Graham, Dave, Darren) for helping to keep proceedings under control.

Everyone is looking forward to the 2018 race series.

Why is Richard doing all the hard work? Find the write up and pics on the Club facebook page. Link on the LHS.

Simon’s surf school – warriors, fast tacks and developing that muscle memory. Guests traveled from across the UK to join members to enjoy the 2 day training course.

Many thanks Simon Bornhoft for breaking your world tour to visit us in Norfolk.

As you can see the ladies group had a good time windsurfing and lunching at the Pleasure Boat Inn.

Wendy and Ros are very pleased everyone had a good time, and will be arranging the next one soon. The lunch was lovely too.

We had a lovely time catching up whilst being entertained by the sensational ‘ Muddy Broad Blues Band’ who stopped by at the Pleasure Boat Pub as part of their 2017 Hickling Tour.

Compere and Event Director Keith also did a sterling job with the Quiz, and Raffle. We raised over £50 on the night for the ‘Outbound Trust’ in memory of Windsurfing Dave (Dave Black).

A very enjoyable evening. Well done and many thanks to Keith, Helen, and the MBBB for looking after us on the night.
